AnyLogic’s sixth annual Conference will continue to prove the power of collaboration, with both the AnyLogic team and other experienced model developers. Don’t miss the opportunity to see how AnyLogic is being applied across multiple industries, experience innovative ideas and expand your vision of AnyLogic software. The program is built with the most innovative AnyLogic users from industry-leading organizations. Stay tuned as we continue to update the program.
The event immediately follows INFORMS Analytics Conference.
It’s great to attend the AnyLogic Conference because you can see how the tool is being applied across multiple industries, get to exchange ideas with people, see how other people are solving the same problems and see what the best approach is.
Artem Parakhine, PWC
The AnyLogic Conference is a great place to learn more about the product and to receive firsthand information from the AnyLogic developers, as well as practitioners with a huge amount of experience.
Arnd Schirrmann, Airbus Group Innovations
Although we are long-time users of AnyLogic, this is the first time I was able to attend the users Conference. The biggest benefit I got out of was actually to meet some of the GE customers, at a corporate level we have been working with, but did not have those personal relationships with.
Onur Dulgeroglu, Senior Analytics Engineer, GE Global Research
The value I find in attending the AnyLogic Conference, was the multitude of different research and projects that are going on with AnyLogic. It really opened my eyes to some new ideas that we can implement with AnyLogic that we might not have thought of before.
Using 3 Simulation Models to Improve Throughput and Supply Reliability for an Integrated
Steel Supply Chain (Dr. Alan Barnard, CEO of Goldratt Research Labs; Jaco-Ben Vosloo, Director Simulation and Technologies)
Identifying the Impact Ridesharing and Autonomous Vehicles will have on Mobility in a City (Oliver Bandte, PhD, Principal Data Scientist)
Oil & Gas
Well Construction Process Modeling and Simulation (Jason Baker, Sr. Systems Engineer)
Assessing Crew Temporal Variability During U.S. Navy Shipboard Operations (Kevin Muhs, PhD Student)
Evaluating Different Maintenance Policies Through A Digital Copy of The Manufacturing Process: The CNH Industrial Case
AnyLogic 8.3, AnyLogic Cloud, and the AnyLogic Roadmap (Dr. Andrei Borshchev, CEO & Nikolay Churkov, Head of Software Development)
anyLogistix Supply Chain Software: New Features and Roadmap (Timofey Popkov, Director of Business Development at The AnyLogic Company)
Simulation — Monsanto's Journey to Industry 4.0 (Shrikant Jarugumilli, PhD, Operations Research Lead, Global IT — Analytics, Products & Engineering)
Using the New AnyLogic Material Handling Library and Running Complex Simulation Experiments in the Cloud
Dr. Andrei Borshchev, CEO & Nikolay Churkov, Head of Software Development at The AnyLogic Company, and Arash Mahdavi, Simulation Modeling Consultant, AnyLogic North America
The workshop is built around the new features of AnyLogic 8.3 coming April 2018. We will demonstrate the new AnyLogic Material Handling Library and show how to model and simulate sophisticated conveyor networks and AGVs. We will also showcase the new AnyLogic browser-based front-end that replaces the Java implementation, explaining how to take advantage of AnyLogic Cloud when running complex multiple-run experiments such as Monte-Carlo and Parameter Variation. As usual, we will answer attendee questions and go through some useful how-to’s.
anyLogistix: From Supply Chain Optimization to Dynamic Simulation
Timofey Popkov, Director of Business Development at The AnyLogic Company
anyLogistix combines analytical optimization together with unmatched simulation technology for precise end-to-end supply chain analysis. While Network Optimization has been used for decades to design supply chains, Dynamic Simulation is still a “know unknown” in the area. During this workshop you will learn how you can benefit from using these approaches in unison to innovate your supply chain — how to convert optimization results into simulation scenarios and realize the advantages of simulation technology.

Nestled at the base of historic Federal Hill in the south side of Baltimore's beautiful Inner Harbor, the American Visionary Art Museum is a unique and exciting venue. Not only is the museum the national repository for the artworks created by self-taught artists, the building's architecture is an artistic creation unto itself – winning many national & international awards for its design and beauty. The venue is easily accessible by foot (a 15 minute walk from the Convention Center), or by transport (Water Taxi or Charm City Circulator), and convenient to all of Baltimore's Inner Harbor hotels and downtown attractions.
The AnyLogic Company Conference recommends staying at our host hotel the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. Located on the picturesque waterfront, the Royal Sonesta brings refinement, charm and laid-back style and a short walk along the inner harbor to the conference location.
